Teamwork, friendship, empathy, compassion can make the change!

ASLC is an annual gathering of students from all over Asia. Students will learn to understand the importance of effective leadership and be inspired to make a change in their own community.   Programme include outdoor teambuilding activities, community work at social enterprises and charitable organizations, workshop on social entrepreneurship, stimulating presentations delivered by community and business leaders. Through the series of activities, participants will learn the importance of teamwork, understand the needs of various underprivileged communities, and develop effective leadership through interactions with  established leaders. Our leadership and social enterprise workshops will also provide students with opportunities to discuss innovative ideas on improvements their communities, as well as to gain knowledge on effective presentation skills.  All students groups will present their ideas to a panel of mentors and judges.

Day 1 (25 July)
PM Arrival

Orientation

  • Ice breaking games to get the participants from different countries to know each other

  • Career talks by renowned professionals

Group Discussion

  • Group discussion on several topics on environment and water in mixed nationality members per group
  • Group discussion on project concept
Business model/project discussion and planning @ Various accommodation

  • Students to discuss and design a business model / project ideas that they would incubate when they return to their home
Day 4 (28 July)

  • Fine tuning of business model / project (with guidance and help from mentors)
